Tips
The fish can be changed according to availability, but make sure you use a fish with a lot of meat to avoid decrease in portion size.
Crab met or lobster meat can also be used.
Avoid using dried fish; it will have an extremely overwhelming aroma and will also change the texture of the cutlets.
Ingredients
250 gms fish meat
Salt to taste
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp green chilli paste
¼ tsp ginger garlic paste
½ tsp cumin powder
½ tsp coriander powder
½ tsp vinegar
2 medium Boiled potatoes
Salt to taste
½ cumin powder
¼ tsp garam masala powder
2 green chillies chopped
Chopped coriander and mint
¼ tsp black pepper powder
Chopped spring onion
Onion for garnish if needed
1 no egg (optional)
Bread crumbs for coating
Preparation
Marinade fish with ingredients and boil it, shred it into chunks and keep aside.
Mix everything together in the fish chunks and form into a cutlet batter.
Divide into 12 equal size balls and shape into desired shape.
Coat with bread crumbs and shallow fry, serve hot with your choice of dip and lemon slices.
