Tips
Crumble can be stored in the freezer for upto 1 weeks.
Fruits can vary according to season or preferences.
Sugar can be replaced with erythritol (sugar substitute), or can also be completely avoided.
Ingredients
1½ tbsp mixed roasted dried fruits
½ cup maida
1tbsp powdered sugar
1tbsp cold butter
1pinch salt
250gms chopped apples
1 tbsp butter
1 pinch cinnamon
2tbsp soaked raisins
Preparation
Melt butter in a pan, add chopped apples, raisins and cinnamon, cook together on low heat for 15/20mins until cooked 75% through.
In a large mixing bowl mix together flour, cold butter, dried fruits and salt until well combined. (it should look like sand)
In a casserole layer the apple mixture and top with the crumble.
Bake in a preheated oven @ 180c for 15/20 mins until the crust looks nice and gold (baking time varies from oven to oven)
