Tips
Egg whites need to be whipped with a pinch of cream of tartar if available, so it holds its shape.
Yolks can be cooked according to doneness.
Baking it on a silicon mat is suggested so it can be lifted easily.
Ingredients
2 egg whites
½ TSP mixed herbs
To taste salt
2 egg yolks
Butter to grease or oil spray
Toasted bread for service
Preparation
Whip egg whites with a pinch of salt, herbs, until they form stiff peaks.
Grease a silicon mat and preheat the oven on 180c.
Put 2 dollops of whipped egg whites at equal distance, create a small impression in the center with the help of a spoon.
Bake the egg whites for 10mins until they look cooked half way.
Carefully place the yolks in the impression made earlier. Spray some oil and bake again until you have achieved the desired doneness.
Once done, lift carefully and transfer on a serving plate, serve hot with toast bread and dips.
