Bhuna Tawa Chicken

When you start to wonder what to make for your meals, this can be a go to recipe. I'm sure you wouldn't get over this Bhuna.

Makes: 6 serving

Tips

It is best served with steamed rice.

Can also be paired with roti.

Spice level can be adjusted.

Ingredients


  • 3 big onions chopped

  • 2 big tomatoes chopped

  • 3 no green chillies

  • 1inch ginger chopped

  • 3 cloves of garlic chopped

  • Chopped coriander

  • Dhaniya powder

  • Zeera powder

  • Black pepper powder

  • Salt

  • Red chilli powder

  • Tumeric powder

  • 3 tbsp Ginger garlic paste

  • 500gms chicken

  • 2 tbsp curd

  • 1tbsp Ghee

  • 3tbsp oil

Preparation

  1. Marinade chicken with 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and half of all the masala rest for 1 hour, boil and shred.

  2. Heat ghee and oil in a pan add onion and saute till light golden brown.

  3. Add ginger garlic paste and tomatoes, cook until oil separates. Add all the masala and cook for a good 5 mins.

  4. As soon as it starts to stick on the bottom add little water and scrape all the masala out, add chicken and mix.

  5. Heat a flat tawa on high flame and add oil.

  6. Throw in some green chillies, ginger and garlic and saute well on high heat.

  7. Add the chicken masala and cook for 5 mins.

  8. Bhuno it and let it get the smoke of the tawa. Adjust salt and garnish with coriander.
