Tips
It is best served with steamed rice.
Can also be paired with roti.
Spice level can be adjusted.
Ingredients
3 big onions chopped
2 big tomatoes chopped
3 no green chillies
1inch ginger chopped
3 cloves of garlic chopped
Chopped coriander
Dhaniya powder
Zeera powder
Black pepper powder
Salt
Red chilli powder
Tumeric powder
3 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
500gms chicken
2 tbsp curd
1tbsp Ghee
3tbsp oil
Preparation
Marinade chicken with 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and half of all the masala rest for 1 hour, boil and shred.
Heat ghee and oil in a pan add onion and saute till light golden brown.
Add ginger garlic paste and tomatoes, cook until oil separates. Add all the masala and cook for a good 5 mins.
As soon as it starts to stick on the bottom add little water and scrape all the masala out, add chicken and mix.
Heat a flat tawa on high flame and add oil.
Throw in some green chillies, ginger and garlic and saute well on high heat.
Add the chicken masala and cook for 5 mins.
Bhuno it and let it get the smoke of the tawa. Adjust salt and garnish with coriander.
